William McClure Brown is a prolific painter, illustrator and printmaker. A Scottish-Canadian who has settled in Wales, he works extensively with the Mari Lwyd, as well as The Venus of Blaengwynfi, Loup-Garou, and the village of Aberarthur.

William has collaborated with many writers over the years, including Colin Jones, David Greenslade and Lucien Suel. His work has been exhibited in many countries, including France, Canada, and The Czech Republic. His studio is in the Llangynwyd area of Tir Iarll, where the Mari Lwyd is often seen to gallop.

Colin Jones is a resident of Cwm Llynfi, Tir Iarll. He is the author of the revolutionary Cadw Swn home study Welsh course, as well as the eclectic 'Elastic Black Dog'.

As Colin Bradshaw-Jones he has edited and contributed stories to a number of books, including 'World Folk Tales Vol I' and 'Legends of King Arthur Through the Ages'.
